The Chef Tora
Tora Holmes is a young up and coming Chef from Harlem, New York. Cooking was always her passion, at the age of 21 she traded her retail job for theKitchen and has never looked back. In 2012, not even a year into her first Restaurant Job, Tora was the First line cook to ever have a burger special (The“Nacho Average Cheese Burger”) put on the menu at Bills Bar & Burgers which was the highest selling special in company history. Her no waste Juice ‘Toratopia’ was apart of Bon Appetite Earth Day preparation 2017. Proving every part of the fruit usable, Tora created an All Natural Juice using fruit scraps and herb. In 2019, she started her own catering company The Chef Tora LLC to seek opportunities to further develop her own creativity. Creating her own platform allows her to showcase her food which she calls ‘Urban American’ a mixture of different cuisines and nationalities. It’s been Tora’s mission to prove that you shouldn’t have to change yourself to live this #ChefLife
